The
Village of Union is served by a 27-member, all volunteer
fire department. The unmanned station is located on Main
Street in Union.
Marengo 9-1-1 dispatchers respond to emergency calls by
pagers.
The Union Fire Protection fleet includes six modern fire
trucks, and one antique truck which is used for special
events.
The district handles an average of 80 calls a year, and
was founded in 1937.
Firemen participate in the Settler's Days parade and a
host of other area events. |
